1956

Marge Scully McGuckin has an exciting year ahead. Her grandkids are keeping her busy with a wedding in Maine in August, one in Chicago in October, one in PA in November and one in North Carolina next May. Four weddings in nine months time!

1967

1970

Congratulations to Izanne Leonard-Haak for being re-elected to the Alumni Association Board of Governors, serving the 2026-2029 term.

1971

Jacqueline Evangelist Saybolt and Eileen Monahan Chopnick ’73, MBA, RDN, LDN, FAND ran into each other at a senior center in North East Philadelphia when Eileen was there presenting a lesson on budget-friendly nutrition tips.Two women standing in front of brick wall

1973

Eileen Monahan Chopnick, MBA, RDN, LDN, FAND was recently recognized as a 50-year member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics at the annual meeting held in Nashville, TN.  The meeting is called FNCE for Food and Nutrition Conference and Exhibition.

1974

Congratulations to Nancy Potts ’05 M.A. for being elected to the Alumni Association Board of Governors, serving the 2026-2029 term.

1985

Congratulations to Denise Janssen Davidson for being re-elected to the Alumni Association Board of Governors, serving the 2026-2029 term.

1990

Congratulations to Maureen Heffeman Clark for being re-elected to the Alumni Association Board of Governors, serving the 2026-2029 term.

2006

Congratulations to Jacqueline Vasinda for being re-elected to the Alumni Association Board of Governors, serving the 2026-2029 term.

2009

Mary Woods Strobel moved to South Carolina and began a new job teaching at a Catholic school and planning/singing/directing a choir for school Mass. Her four children attend another Catholic school close by.

2011

Congratulations to Elizabeth Strauch for being elected to the Alumni Association Board of Governors, serving the 2026-2029 term.

2020

Jessica McHugh married Will Walsh in July 2025. Four of her bridesmaids were also Immaculata graduates: Christy Kishbaugh ’20, Lexi Thornton ’21, Dia Kitchengs ’18 and Collette Zeoli ’18. Jessica met them all through different activities in her time at IU – athletics, summer programs, beginning of freshman year and being an RA.

2022

Angelica Cade celebrated 3 years of living in England in September 2025. She has successfully received her third visa which puts her on the path to permanent residency.

2023

Breanna Kratz is a full-time Music Therapist and Lead Creative Arts Therapist at Nemours Children’s Hospital (formerly known as A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children) in Wilmington, Delaware.

2024

Thank you to Samuel Cruz, Kaleigh Dugan and Shane Warner for volunteering on the Alumni Panel at Accepted Students Day.

Kaleigh Dugan is teaching 7th and 8th grade (8th Homeroom) at Our Lady of Port Richmond School in Philadelphia.

Shane Warner is a Medical Laboratory Scientist I working at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) for Penn Medicine. He is currently trained and assigned to numerous benches including: chemistry (traditional and immunoassay based), coagulation, blood gases, urinalysis, and body fluid crystal analysis.

While at Delaware Law, Kenneth was named to the Dean’s List every semester and was awarded eight Certificates of Achievement. Kenneth served as the Editor-in-Chief of the “Delaware Journal of Corporate Law.” His Note, “Sacked: The History of One of Bankruptcy Law’s Most Controversial Tools and How Purdue Pharma Killed It,” was published in Volume 49 of the Journal. During his 3L year, he also served as the Josiah Oliver Wolcott Fellow to the Honorable Justice Gary F. Traynor in the Delaware Supreme Court.

Kenneth earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from IU, majoring in Criminology with minors in Pre-Law, Sociology, and Legal Studies. He completed his degree through IU and Delaware Law’s joint 3+3 Accelerated J. D. Program, earning his juris doctor in just six years.

After passing the Delaware Bar, Kenneth will joined Richards, Layton & Finger, P. A. as an associate attorney.
